PECR REGULATIONS 

The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) sit alongside data protection and UK GDPR.  We use your data to provide and improve our Service. By using our Service, you agree to the collection.  PECR relates specifically to marketing by electronic means and covers marketing calls, texts, and emails.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) cover most UK businesses and organisations. IT explains each of the data protection principles, rights and obligations and follows the Data Protection Act 2018

We use “Heatmaps” to track where users click on our website pages, this allows us to understand the most popular features of a given web page. We are unable to identify which users clicked where, only that a click was registered. 

Remarketing
We use cookies to track website users so that we are able to offer them online behavioural advertising via our advertising partners (Facebook and Google are two examples). We are unable to identify you personally from this information and we rely on our partners to serve the advertisements to you.

LEGITIMATE INTEREST/SOFT OPT-IN RULE 

Trustco has adopted the ‘Soft Opt-In’ rule for existing customers and companies it has provided a quotation for in the past. The idea is that if an individual bought something or has enquired about a product or service from Trustco recently, and did not opt out of marketing messages, then they are happy to continue to receive marketing messages from us about similar products or services in the future. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time. 

HOW WE GET PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WHY WE HAVE IT 

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons

  • Request for quotation

  • B2B marketing data for UK companies licensed for marketing data listing preferences for marketing communications that are accurate and relevant, compiled specifically for direct marketing
